Opening lines of famous novels in the form of hay(na)ku II
was love
at first sight.
This one is, of course, from Joseph Heller's most celebrated novel Catch-22. I wanted to post it right away, since it was so obvious and easy to come up with. Last night, when I first got the idea of "Opening lines of famous novels in the form of hay(na)ku" I found at least three specimens in just five minutes — from my own library, that is. More to come.

Eileen,
please do.
We'll be amazed.
Try also first lines, or titles, of famous poems. I already did that with two big-time Finnish poets and came up with hundreds of beautiful miniatures. Our job?
Wouldn't
change it
for the world.
Thank you thank you, it's probably the only one I know :)
